The most important player for Jong Oranje, without doubt.  Takes care of both attacking and defending work.  He is involved in almost every attack and is also the leader of the team.  He earned a transfer to PSV and immediately joined the starting team.  The agreement between Dutch national team coach Rijkaard and Jonge Oranje coach Berger that players from the latter team would not be called up by Rijkaard is the only thing that has kept him from playing for “big” Oranje.
